Field Applications Engineer

Duties:

This individual will interface with customer technical staff, both pre-sales & post-sales, on development, implementation and debugging of Tanisys ATE testing solutions. Must be proficient in DRAM and/or Flash products. Will work with customers' software developers to write memory test algorithms. Extensive verbal and written communication skills required. Up to 25% travel to customer sites, domestic & international.


Requirements:
BSEE with 5+ years of high tech industry experience. At least 2 years experience working with memory testing or development with ATE/SMT equipment. Candidate’s responsibilities and attributes include, but not limited to, the following:


  • Detailed understanding of Flash and/or DRAM testing.
  • C++ Programming (3 years minimum).
  • Linux/Unix development skills.
  • Engineering and Production Test.
  • Multi-DUT Testing.
  • Understanding of Test Analysis Tools.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Superior Scheduling and Multitasking skills.
  • Demonstrated Problem Solving experience.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Technical Writing skills.
  • Ability to Travel both International (EU, Asia) and within the USA.
  • Team player works well with others.
  • Interfaces well with Customers.
  • Excellent Presentation skills.
  • Self-Starter.
